Food halls are now common, bringing life to city centers. Yorkshire features White Cloth Hall, Doncaster has The Wool Market, and York offers Spark. Manchester boasts Freight Island and Diecast. These places revitalize old buildings and showcase independent businesses.

Sheffield’s Cambridge Street Collective is thriving, having won Best Food Hall 2024 from The British Street Food Awards. The Blend team created this venue, making a great impression.

This food hall is the UK’s largest, featuring twenty kitchens and bars that offer varied cuisines. You can find Japanese, Italian, and Ethiopian food, along with Korean, Thai, Palestinian, Greek, and Malaysian options. American food is also available.

Explore the venue to find more delights, with its many floors and hidden spaces. The website has a helpful map, and each table has QR codes that let you view every menu.

Some stalls have lunch deals. I had a burrito and fries for £14.50, and I bought a Coca-Cola for £3.50. El Chappo’s menu includes nachos and churros.

Ordering was simple, with a buzzer alerting me when my food was ready. The buzzer had a photo of the server on it. This was a prank from a neighbor, showing the welcoming atmosphere. The burrito was one of Sheffield’s best.

There was plenty of seating available, and they have initiatives for kids during school holidays. A children’s play area is available, and you can also work there. They offer darts games and retro arcade machines are also present. I enjoyed FIFA Street.

The DJ booth overlooks the hall, adding to the ideal spot for working and playing. Cambridge Street Collective is located at 11 Backfields, Sheffield.
