His town knows him by that name all the time.
He opened a crisp sandwich shop in 2015.
It was England’s first shop of that kind.
The shop unfortunately closed after three months.
Mark’s health caused the shop to close down later.
He had a bad heart and seizures.
Doctors said he had to stop working or die.
Mark felt very disappointed about this fact.
Customers came from many different countries.
They came from as far away as Kuwait and Australia.
Paddy McGuinness, a TV star, even visited him.
The shop’s Facebook page displays their photo together.
The shop had 136 kinds of crisps for sandwiches.
They offered Irish Golden Wonder.
They also included Israeli Bamba peanut puffs.
People added things like ketchup or peanut butter.
They even offered jam or marshmallows.
Customers chose white, brown, baguette, or a bun.
Mark had planned a bigger shop and franchises.
His health condition put him in the hospital.
He spent two weeks in the hospital because of it.
Now, he is a woodworker, DJ, and also a singer.
He enjoys remembering those three months fondly.
It was fun meeting people, Mark happily recalls.
He calls it one of the best times of his life.
A shop in Belfast gave him the initial idea.
He has loved crisp sandwiches his entire life.
He even ate them while selling them often daily.
Crisp sandwiches are a great snack, he shares.
They don’t ruin your appetite between meals.
What is Mark’s very favorite crisp sandwich of all?
He chooses roast beef Monster Munch with butter.
He likes thin slices of white bread with that snack.
